Hello, we're The Sunflower
The Sunflower opened on Victoria Road because Scarborough deserved a cafe that treats coffee like it matters and treats people like regulars from day one. We know our regulars by name, the pastries come out of the oven before we unlock the door, and the beans come from roasters we've actually shaken hands with. Pop in any morning — we'll be here.
What we do
Coffee, a brunch menu we're proud of, and bakes from the oven each morning. We work with suppliers we know and cook everything ourselves. Sit in for a long brunch, take a paper bag of pastries home, or grab a coffee on your walk down to South Bay.

Beans from independent UK roasters we love. The house blend changes with the season — ask us what we’re pouring today.
Fresh from the oven
Pastries, scones, cakes and sourdough — baked here before we open the door. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
Dogs & little ones welcome
Water bowls outside for the dogs, high chairs and colouring pencils for the kids. Bring everyone.
